Attorney Toni Sessoms has been an attorney in private practice for 25 years and has been with Paula M. Fisher, Attorney At Law, P.C. for 6 years. Toni's practice has focused on Family Law (including Adoptions), Criminal Defense and Estate Planning.  Toni is licensed to practice law in Michigan State and federal courts as well as the Saginaw Chippewa Tribal Court. Placing an emphasis on thorough preparation of her cases, Toni Sessoms combines her passion for law and justice with compassion for her clients.  Toni Sessoms has handled hundreds of criminal and family law cases, including trials, motions and negotiated settlements.  She has recently become a Certified Specialist in Probate and Estate Planning through the Michigan ICLE program.  

Attorney Toni L. Sessoms  graduated with Honors in Family Law from Wake Forest School of Law in North Carolina in 1993, receiving the faculty accolade of top Woman Law student at graduation. Before Law School, Attorney Sessoms earned a Master of Divinity Degree, graduating with high honors and devoted herself to community and church work for over a decade.  Attorney Sessoms is also a former Registered Nurse, having practiced in Pediatrics (with Certification in Pediatric Intensive Care) and Neurological Intensive Care for over a decade.  She brings the same caring, compassionate emphasis to her clients in the courtroom that she provided throughout her nursing and ministry service.  Attorney Sessoms lives with her family on their farm in Isabella County, where she maintains a menagerie of furry, spoiled pets.  In her spare time, she enjoys beekeeping, wine making, cooking, gardening, cross country skiing, reading, theater and politics.
